Universe Changers! — Minnesota Women’s Press First Friday Salon

…because we have always made change by talking with each other

This is your invitation to the next evolution of Universe Changers, the First Friday Salon series. Join in the first Friday of each month, 6:30-7:30 p.m. for an engaging discussion topic. Purple Crayon Factory has been a frequent consultant and facilitator for Universe Changers. Details for each salon will be announced in the Women’s Press. Women In Networking (WIN) is a perfect and exciting complement to PCF as they both foster meaningful connections between people and possibilities. Smart Women WIN! Celebrate the savvy business choices you’ve made in 2007 at this special year-end recognition and networking event Tuesday, December 11, 8:00-9:30 a.m. at the Downtowner Woodfire Grill. $30 ($20 for WIN members). Breakfast is included. Don’t delay, the Smart Women Company will be providing a fun gift to the first 20 registrants!

Women's Wellness & Adventure Weekend at the Audubon Center of the North Woods

Greet the change of seasons with restored energy and creativity! 535 acres of beautifully varied landscapes provide the perfect setting for this complete holistic adventure. May 2-4, 2008. Spend this weekend with your friends or take the opportunity to get away by yourself, meet new people, and learn new skills. Professionals in the fields of health, exercise, crafts and nutrition will provide a variety of physical, mental, and spiritual activities to choose from. To kick off the weekend, Teresa of PCF will facilitate an interactive session on Friday evening (details TBA). Enjoy meals that have come to be known as some of the best in the area; the chef carefully plans and prepares each healthy, wholesome, organic meal with creativity and taste.
