"It really was an eye-opening experience for me, and helped me to visually put my priorities in order. Thanks again for providing such a worthwhile experience. It sounds like everyone in the room enjoyed the conference this year. Your session was unique from what we've had in the past. It was wonderful to see our participants laughing and interacting while discovering what work-life balance means for them."

"We have received consistently positive comments from our members regarding the workshop. People appreciated the opportunity to think about balance in their lives - the use of non-verbal means (art) was different and freeing for many. Another positive aspect was the opportunity for our members to connect in a low-pressure, nurturing environment."

“Walking into the Minnesota Women’s Press networking event, I didn’t expect to meet anyone who’d especially change my life over the next year. But Teresa Thomas-Carroll of Purple Crayon Factory did just that. Her ideas and coordination for that exceptional gathering made it a relaxing and fun way to meet other business owners. The same level of ease and discovery was present at all the PCF sessions I subsequently attended. Purple Crayon Factory is infused with a unique blend of generosity of spirit and joy of communal experience and has given me gifts I can continually share with others in my own business and personal life.”

"When I started to work on my booklet I was just planning on being a little silly and playful for a couple of hours. It is not often that I take the time to play in creative ways. As the experience proceeded I found myself looking inward and forward in very positive pictures. I was surprised at the insight that I had about myself and the world in which I live. There were things that I would not change and things that I would change. The pictures became a playful and poignant portrait of myself. I was growing and learning without the typically accompanying pain. This workshop was one of the better learning environments I have attended, because I made all the discoveries myself. Additionally, I find that I like to use more than one learning modality to best retain new knowledge. Purple Crayon Factory has something special for those who are tired of the same old workshops. I would go back and bring my friends who want to play and learn."

"I really enjoyed your workshop...I also learned something new I found interesting about myself through creating the collage picture frame. The VISTAs that came up to me afterwards said they really enjoyed the workshop and they had a lot of fun. I strongly think it is safe to say that the session was a hit!!"
