Teresa Thomas-Carroll, director/founder

Teresa enjoys creating opportunities for meaningful connections and realizations. She is a passionate “creative generalist” who applies this energy to every aspect of her life.

Teresa provides venues for people to make important and positive realizations about themselves so they can more fully accomplish their goals and dreams. Torn between calling herself an artist or a “creative,” Teresa tends to focus on the sharing and discovery that happens in the midst of a creative process over the finished product. At the University of Minnesota she received her B.A. in art and has taken graduate courses centered on creativity, life design and facilitation. She has organized and facilitated events and exhibitions, experiential education and art classes, and community-building activities. In her youth, she aspired to be a teacher, inventor/innovator, artist, “motivational” speaker, events organizer or Jane Goodall. Other than becoming a renowned anthropologist, she’s experienced and incorporated each of these roles into her vocation. As a mother, she nurtures her children to find and express who they are at their center in hopes that they will live lives of integrity and passion. In pursuit of her own ideal and balanced life, Teresa’s work facilitating and organizing workshops and networking events fully embraces her strengths, values and motivations to carry out the work she loves.
