Tasha Burg, M.A
There came a time when the risk to remain tight in the bud
was more painful than the risk it took to blossom.” -Anais Nin

Tasha believes our symptoms (often emotional or physical pain) are our guidance letting us know what part of ourselves or aspect of our life is ready to blossom and unfold. Tasha teaches stress prevention through deep breathing, biofeedback, guided imagery and meditation. In addition to expressive art therapy, she offers integrative bodywork for clients to navigate the seasons of the soul by releasing and transforming what are perceived as “problems” or “obstacles” using energy-based healing. She received her Master of Arts degree in Holistic Counseling from Salve Regina University in Rhode Island. She combines insights from experience as a wellness counselor at Hazelden’s chemical dependency recovery center, her studies in spiritual development with the Institute of Transpersonal Psychology and her private counseling practice into her workshops. Her holistic counseling practice, The Art of Soul, LLC, is offered through various wellness centers in the Twin Cities. For individual counseling, please contact Tasha directly at 612-839-7100.

Testimonials:

“The two times I have done this has brought out probably my biggest obstacles at this point in time. The process has brought me more in touch with questions I have been wondering about and answered questions to how I am really feeling that I couldn’t find on my own. I have been holding all this stuff inside not knowing how to release it or surrender.” T.H.

“I was surprised at what comes out of the subconscious through relaxation and art. I wasn’t too sure this would be helpful to me and I am by no means an artist, but it was a very positive experience. I found it to be fascinating. It was a life opening experience and I plan to continue using it in problem solving.” S.C.

"I learned that mind-body connectedness is much more than an intellectual process. The process is pretty amazing. Thanks." L.H.

Tasha's Workshops:

-Each class offers you specific skills to continue your own process of "visual journaling" in addition to practical skills to integrate into your daily life to create the life you are meant to live.
-No artistic talent required! These opportunities are about expression, not artistic ability.
