Reflections (Mia Bolte , M.A., facilitator)

Here in Minnesota, most of us sigh in relief when we get a glimpse of spring. Ready for change, we are thrilled to see buds grow green and flowers emerge from their wintry sleep.

Spring, complete with new life invites our own aliveness. Chances are, you have something that is ready to melt away to make space for something new.

What inside you wants to come to life at this time? It might be something you are already familiar with and want more of. Or, you might take a leap and nurture something you have been wishing or longing for. Recently, my friend Haley realized she wanted to learn to play. As a thirty-something who had accomplished a great deal in the world, she felt it was time to learn more about this aspect of herself that she hadn’t given much attention.

We all have some part of ourselves that wants to come forward. As you notice the outer world beginning to bloom, take a moment to connect with yourself and ask, what wants to come alive in me at this time? Pay attention, and surely you’ll greet your own internal springing.

Use the Mini-Reflection Exercise to inspire you to spring forward.

Mia has openings in her therapy practice for new clients as well as a women's group beginning May 7. For information, you may contact her directly at 612-701-2027.

"Yes, You Can Choose Better Over Really Good"
Teresa will share her personal story of taking the leap from a career she loved to pursue her passion through PCF. Sometimes, we hold ourselves back from what we really want because what we already have is less risky and already good enough. Consider which areas of your own life "you can choose better over really good" and become motivated to make your best choices. Thursday, April 13th at MN Women In Networking. Can't attend? Teresa's is one of many inspirational stories from women in business in the e-book, Journeys To The Playground(TM). Each author has shared what she has learned in hopes it will make your path a little easier. Support and believe in your own process: Order the e-book now, at only $15.59

Balance In Your Life
Juggling multiple responsibilities? Have little time to reflect upon how you might align your life more harmoniously with your values? Uncover how you’d like to tend the key areas of your life & weed areas that pull away from your sense of harmony. Experience guided imagery and then create a simple collaged box that will remind you of how you’ll flow toward a balanced life. Teresa Thomas-Carroll will be facilitating this session on Saturday, April 15 from 2-3 p.m. at EQ Life on Grand Avenue in St. Paul. Register at: EQ Life events.

Mini-Reflection Exercise

Get inspired to spring! Take some time to connect with your self and mindfulness. Breathe. Feel your feet on the ground.

Recall a springtime image or sound. Describe it or jot down the qualities of it.

Notice if this recollection gives you a clue into a part of yourself that wants to spring forward.
