Sponsorship Information

Thank you for your interest in sponsoring Purple Crayon Factory! In addition to supporting our mission to help participants pursue their ideal lives, your business receives visibility in our target market. Our subscribers and workshop participants are primarily women, ages 30-55 in the fields of education, wellness, the arts, non-profits and motherhood. A large proportion own their own businesses or are key decision-makers at the organizations in which they belong. At this time we have a few sponsorship options: 1) gift bag sponsorship at events, 2) e-newsletter sponsorship and 3) Small Business Marketing Jam sponsorship. Details are below.

Gift bag sponsorship

Some of our *events include a gift bag for each participant. Reach session participants by including your business information along with a gift or coupon in each gift bag. Prices are as follows:

• $1.00 per bag when you include gift with your business information (e.g. inclusion in 25 gift bags would be $25). You may also include a coupon for your business at no extra charge. This is a fun way to create a positive impression with the gift bag recipients. Registered participants for the event SAVE 50% off of this price when including a gift with their information.

• $2.00 per bag when you include a coupon only with your business information.

• $3.00 per bag to include business information only. We encourage you to consider the other options as part of the fun for attendees is to receive the gifts and discounts from sponsors.

When we give out the gift bags, we make an announcement thanking the sponsors and encouraging participants to patronize the businesses who have supported the event in this fun way. If there are any extra gift bags, they are put to good use as gifts for support staff at the event or prizes at other sessions.

E-newsletter sponsorship

One sponsorship space is available in each e-newsletter. For a price 10% higher, we’ll allow shared sponsorship if the sponsors coordinate their text together and are willing to share space and cost. We especially invite sponsors whose work fits with our mission (helping people work toward their ideal lives). We retain the right to refuse any sponsorship for any reason.

We are normally able to accommodate using a sponsor’s basic font preferences and logo, if any. If we have a difficult time using your logo or font, we will try to find a similar font.

We can include links to your website and e-mail address. We archive newsletters on the Purple Crayon Factory website where readers can view previous sponsors.

Pricing is established by the number of newsletters we distribute. With each issue our distribution increases and our prices will increase proportionally. Our price is currently $100 (reach over 1000 subscribers at less than 10 cents each). The price is set when the sponsorship is secured (e.g. if there are 1000+ subscribers when you reserve and pay for your sponsorship but the number is higher when the newsletter with your sponsorship is sent, you will have already locked in at the lower price).

We will consider a mutual exchange in lieu of charging for sponsorship. For example, a sponsor could offer an ad to Purple Crayon Factory in their own publication and/or services in the approximate value of the sponsorship.

Parameters:

150 words maximum (approximately 10 lines, with up to 15 words each, at size 9 font), including heading and contact info. We retain the ability to edit and shorten if necessary. It is preferable to use fewer words for more impact.
